I’ve been waiting ages to hear from a publisher to find out what their feedback was for a few designs I did for a new book called ‘DNA of the Bible – Understanding the Bible Like Never Before’ by Mike Breen. Sadly the news back from the publisher was that it wasn’t going to get used, here’s my favourite of the bunch anyway.

Pain Relief!

I totally forgot I did these… I created this series last year as part of a pitch for a global Nurofen campaign in association with Mother Advertising Agency to help bring awareness to the brand outside of Europe. I was given the brief ‘The other side of Pain’ fosusing more on the ‘Relief’ part of pain and with this in mind create graphical symbols incorporating the Nurofen Logo in someway.
The inspiration for these came from my experience of going to the Doctor when I was younger and being given a lollipop after being given an injection for something I can’t remember, this then gave way to other things we get given when we’re ill or things that make us happy even if we’re in pain.
Sadly Mother didn’t use this idea and ran with something else which you might have seen about recently…
