RIP Steve Jobs
I was working late last night and heard the sad news that the legend that is Steve Jobs passed away which reminded me of the hours upon hours of video of him talking about Apple & computers/technology/microsoft I used to watch while on my MA, trying to work out what it was that inspired me.
Here’s a piece I’ll share that I created 3 1/2 years ago while on my long journey and one that seems rather apt today…Thanks for inspiring me Mr. Jobs!

I’m taking part in the SUPER I AM 8 BIT show opening in LA next week, where each artist was invited to create a piece of work around the theme of pre 1980s video games.
For the show I’ve created 2 special typographic pieces laseretched into perspex, which will also be screenprinted onto tshirts to coincide with the show.

19.04 Wired US
I haven’t had chance to post properly the past few months due to projects getting in the way and recently as I’m trying to get my head round a small video piece I’m doing for Spine TV at the moment. So while I’ve got a spare minute I thought it’d be a good idea to put afew behind the scene photos from a project (a sneak preview of which I posted here) I completed a couple of months back for Wired US.
I got approached before christmas to do a splashpage for their magazine for print and their new iPad app. Luckily the brief was pretty open which gave me the perfect opportunity to try something new and completely different.

Pick Me Up 2011 with Anthony Burrill
I had the pleasure of being invited to be part of Pick Me Up this year by the talented Anthony Burrill as part of his studio residency for the duration of the show. Here are some photos of what I created in his space, other artists to be invited included: Emily forgot, Ian Stevenson, Wilfrid Wood and Jack Featherstone.
